Intermediate Wheel-Throwing: Thursday Evenings, 6:30-9:30, January 31st - March 21st
We offer weekly pottery classes at our studio in Seattle in eight week blocks. Each class session is three hours long. During the intermediate wheel-throwing class you can expect to practice more complex throwing skills including lidded forms, spouted vessels, taller forms, and refining your finishing techniques as well as different surface decoration and glaze techniques. Thursday evening class is appropriate for students who have taken several pottery classes and can competently and consistently throw simpler forms such as small cylinders and bowls. While essential studio equipment is provided, you will need to purchase your own throwing tools and clay - more information will be provided prior to the start of class.
This class will run every Thursday evening, 6:30-9:30pm, January 31st - March 21st. While we HIGHLY recommend that you attend all sessions in a series in order to get the most out of the class, we also understand that you may need to miss a class. There will be many opportunities to make up missed classes during open studio sessions. If this is your first time at our studio, please make sure you are able to attend your first class date.
