Spring Intermediate Wheel: Thursday Evenings, 6:30-9:30, April 4th - May 23rd
Are you ready to level up your pottery-wheel game? Our Intermediate Wheel class might be a perfect next step for you! Students must have at least 16 weeks of recent prior pottery wheel classes and be able to competently center three pounds of clay to register for this class. All of our classes are in eight week blocks and meet at our studio in the Wallingford neighborhood in Seattle, and each class session is three hours long. You can expect to learn techniques to make larger bowls and cylinders, lidded vessels, spouted vessels, plates and platters, and make multiples or matched sets. While essential studio equipment is provided, you will need to purchase your own throwing tools and clay - more information will be provided prior to the start of class.
While we HIGHLY recommend that you attend all sessions in a series in order to get the most out of the class, we also understand that you may need to miss a class. There will be many opportunities to make up missed classes during open studio sessions. If this is your first time at our studio, please make sure you are able to attend your first class date.
This class is taught by Sarah Steininger Leroux.
