Kid's Clay Factory: Ceramic Wall Sconces - October 6th
Bring your kids to make a unique ceramic wall sconce! Together, you and your child can create a cherished gift for grandma, a fun souvenir, or a personalized decoration for your home.
Kid's Clay Factory: Ceramic Wall Sconces will take place on October 6th, 2019, 2-5pm. Students will make beautiful ceramic wall sconces to use as a planter or to store small items. Kids will impress texture using stamps, household items, and nature onto wet clay. They will then fold it into a sconce and let it dry. They will be able to choose from a couple of beautiful glaze choices, and our staff will glaze and fire them. Finished projects will be available to pick-up 2-3 weeks after the class. Price is per sconce - families are welcome to bring multiple kids and/or to make multiple sconces.
Register in advance to reserve your spot and avoid the wait when you arrive… but advanced registration is not required if your little artists need more flexibility. Just show up any time between 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm (the workshop closes at 5:00pm).
Participation is $30 per sconce. There is no age restrictions on this event, but the project is best suited for 5-12 year-olds - younger kids will just need more support from you. Kids must be accompanied by an adult during the class — these projects are fun for grownups too!
