SQUARED: new work from
Our first solo show in the gallery space is here! Chase Lilleholm’s heavily textured work explores the intersection of function and ritual in a wide-ranging variety of beautiful forms.
Join us for an artist’s reception on January 12th, from 11am to 1pm. Meet the artist, ask questions, and get to know the story behind Chase’s fascinating body of work.

The Best Local Handmade
In 2019 we’re continuing to stock the very best local handmade goods, with a focus on contemporary functional ceramics. We’ll be carrying work from artists you know and love like Sarah Steininger Leroux, Jennifer Fujimoto, Natasha Alphonse, and Ruby Pear. Every month or so we’ll be adding new work and artists to the gallery. There’s always something new to see!
Artists: visit this page for information about how you can submit work for consideration.
February 2019: HYGGE: Courage, Comfort, and JOY
Hygge is a Danish word which means "to give courage, comfort, joy" — and is the perfect attitude to carry through Seattle’s dark, dreary winters. Think of curling up with a cup of tea in a gorgeous handmade mug, or serving up soup in wonderful deep bowls, or reading a book by warm light of your favorite lamp. What lifts your spirits? You’ll find dozens of pieces to brighten your mood in our gallery this winter.
March 2019: Mug madness: a juried winner-takes-all mug bracket
Attention mug collectors! In 2019 we’re running a juried, bracket-style mug contest. Mugs will go head-to-head in a single-elimination tournament, with the champion winning a $500 prize. Who is the cinderella story? Will your favorite make it to the sweet sixteen?
Best of all, every mug in the contest will be for sale in our store through the month of March!
Are you a potter? The show is now open for entries!
