Scratching The Surface
Decorated Ceramics from Northwest Artists
Our inaugural gallery show is a tribute to surface decoration of all kinds. From mishima to sgraffito; from underglaze to gold luster: we cover it all.
We invited five northwest artists to show off their best surface-decorated ceramics and they showed up with a riot of colors, shapes, and styles. Come shop in the gallery to find your favorite!

HYGGE: Courage, Comfort, and JOY
Hygge is a Danish word which means "to give courage, comfort, joy" — and is the perfect attitude to carry through Seattle’s dark, dreary winters. Think of curling up with a cup of tea in a gorgeous handmade mug, or serving up soup in wonderful deep bowls. What lifts your spirits? You’ll find dozens of pieces to brighten your mood in our gallery this winter.
