Glitch Cutting Board by Ruby Pear Woodworks
Intricately crafted from up to a dozen hardwoods, each glitch board from Ruby Pear Woodworks is a unique functional work of art. Hand-polished to a shine, and finished with natural beeswax and mineral oil.
End-grain cutting boards are the choice for every professional (or aspiring) chef: the orientation of the wood grain is both gentle on knife edges and is much better at hiding knife marks than the long-grain style. They're heavier and more expensive than long-grain boards, but will hold their appearance much longer. Both are built to last.
Both sides are useable. A juice groove is cut into one side of most boards that are 16" x 16" or larger. All boards are branded with the Ruby Pear logo.
Woods vary, but will generally include walnut, maple, cherry, oak, purpleheart, yellowheart, padauk, sapele, alder, and/or mahogany.
