Kid's Clay Monsters and Animals Virtual Workshop with Jessica Cheng June 26th-27th, 1-3pm
In this two day workshop, we will teach multiple hand-building techniques to create your favorite animals and imaginary creatures! Your instructor, Jessica Cheng, will guide you through techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slipping and scoring to assemble your clay creations. Once the clay is dry enough, we’ll paint our creations with underglazes and use sgraffito techniques to bring our pieces to life. This class is for students 8 years and older, no experience required.
This course is open to all skill levels. Previous experience in clay will be helpful, but is not necessary. Registration is for one student.
Workshop will be held on Zoom and students are encouraged to follow along. Video will be sent a couple days after the class if you want to refer back to the content. Workshop registration is time/class specific and is non-refundable. If registering for a child, please complete the student information form at purchase.
