Every year we eagerly await the Seattle Tilth Alliance plant sale. We pour over the lists of tomato plants, trying to figure out the perfect mix for this year's garden. And every year we get to the sale early, dressed in overalls and pulling the wagon, ready to grab those plants before they sell out. For us, it's the official kick-off weekend for warm-weather gardening in Seattle.
So you can imagine our delight when we were invited to partner with them to have a booth at the 2020 plant sale! The annual sale takes place just two blocks from our Wallingford store and we were looking forward to reaching out to gardening fans, near and far.
And then... well, you know. But we're still excited to be partnering with Seattle Tilth for their new online-only plant sale! Our staff has put together a special collection of plant pots and accessories just for this show.
You can buy all these fantastic handmade items exclusively on the Seattle Tilth website from May 1st through May 5th. After purchasing, you'll be able to pick these up from their drive-through location in Rainier Beach. And the best part: 15% of all the proceeds goes to support Seattle Tilth's important programs, like their garden hotline and online classes, while 70% of the rest goes directly to the talented artist behind each piece.
