I was born in Hollywood, CA and spent my first 18 years in sunny LA, CA. Then I moved to the coolness of the redwoods in Arcata, CA and have lived in Seattle since 1997 where I teach art in Seattle Public Schools, make art as much as possible and write about art whenever I can. I’ve been creating with clay since the early 1990’s.
