John Quick

I am John Quick (he/they pronouns) and I am a non-binary queer potter from St. Augustine Florida. I make pieces for the home, often inspired by nature, architecture, and my experiences. I aim for my work to be playful, colorful, and always pleasing to the eye. Lately my work has been a major experimentation of color and blending color to create gradients that largely resemble the sky and it’s changing hues. In addition to my ceramics I spend a lot of my time in nature, especially the beach near my house, with my dog Celine. Some of my favorite things to do are traveling to new places, trying new food and drinks, and spending time with friends.
