Lauren Semet
Looking to bust out of a decade-long, desk job-induced creative rut, I stumbled into Saltstone for a workshop in 2021. Almost immediately, I fell head over heels in love with clay and all its possibilities, and this sweet community. It's a true honor to share my work at the place that nurtured my curiosity so lovingly!
Since that first class, I've exhibited my work, sold at markets, and even had a cup I made appear in a music video. Lots of trial and error (mostly error) has led me to a personal style that features slightly off-beat forms, unexpected texture, and color always. I love to search for that place where functional becomes delightful. Find me on Instagram @thischickistoast!
