Mirage Studio
I relocated from Brooklyn to Seattle on a whim in 2016, having spent 12 years working in New York and internationally within the fine arts and sustainability realms. I picked up pottery as a hobby when I moved here, and it has evolved into a much more significant part of my artistic life. Discovering and collecting vintage clothing and objects is something that I’ve done for as long as I can remember, so I created mirage studio as an outlet for that, and I've recently incorporated these weird, organic little vessels as part of that offering. In addition to operating a very small business, I am the Director of Koplin Del Rio, a woman-run art gallery, initially established in LA, which is now based in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle.
