Ryoko Ceramics
Ryoko is a Portland-based ceramic artist born in Japan. She reconnected to pottery after moving to the US in 2009. Most of her current works are inspired by animals, especially dogs and cats. She finds that they are incredibly empathetic and make her feel safe to be herself. She also likes using combinations of symbols that could represent both darkness and brightness in playful forms.
