I have been experimenting with microcrystalline glazes. I love surfaces that you have to look closely at to appreciate the beauty in them. It has been an interesting struggle to figure out how to encourage the kind of surfaces that I want, and I am continuing to discover just how many results you can get from the same glaze just by firing it in a slightly different way.

I recently acquired an espresso machine and it has reignited an obsession with coffee and my favorite pots that accompany it. As winter approaches I wanted to share pots that highlight and celebrate the drinks that give us warmth and joy. (they/them)
