Private Teen Wheel Lessons (Ages 14–17)
Private lessons are a great way for teens to get focused, one-on-one pottery wheel instruction with one of our fantastic instructors. Whether it’s your very first time at the wheel or you’re working toward refining your technique, we’re here to help you grow. Teens can focus on specific wheel-throwing skills they want to learn, build confidence through personalized guidance, or simply enjoy a relaxing few hours making art on the wheel.
Things to know:
- Private lessons are 2 hours long, which covers the basics of wheel throwing: wedging, centering, opening, and raising.
- All work will be trimmed, glazed and fired by our staff. You can expect to pick up your piece in about a month.
- Pricing varies depending on the number of people in your group, so check to be sure you are signed up for the correct lesson size.
Private lessons require a $50 deposit which is fully refundable if you let us know more than 72 hours prior to the lesson. After that, you can pay for the remainder via credit card after class.
To pay for your appointment with a gift card, please use a credit card for reservation. After your lesson, you can pay the balance in full with the gift card.
