Mug Madness is a single-elimination bracket-style tournament with a $500 top prize (and $100 for the runner-up), running all March long.
All voting happens on Instagram throughout the month of March. Be sure to follow the Saltstone Ceramics account and check back every day to vote on new matches!
How To Participate
Every day around 9am (all times Pacific), we'll post one or more match-ups to the Saltstone Ceramics Instagram account. Take a look at the pictures, read the descriptions, and decide which one you like better!
Next, head to the Instagram Stories for the Saltstone Ceramics account and vote in the poll. Voting closes at 9pm on the day of the match-up.
Finally, share your favorite mugs! Use hashtag #mugmadness19. Tell your friends! Repost or regram! Cheer your favorite mugs to the finish!
How The Scoring Works
Three points are divided between the two mugs, and the mug with the most points moves on; the other is eliminated. One point is assigned by our Juror Extraordinaire, Justin Rothshank. One point is assigned by Saltstone Ceramics's Creative Director, Sarah Steininger Leroux. And the final point is assigned by your votes via the Instagram Poll.
