Liana Tai
Liana Tai is a multimedia artist originally based in Richmond, VA who has recently relocated to Boston, MA. They graduated in 2024 with their BFA in craft/material studies from VCUarts. Currently they have been selling their production art at local markets alongside their close friend and business partner under the name Catfish Cult. Making miniature and cute items has been a skill they’ve cultivated since childhood. Growing up with artists in their family, she had an idea of what she thought "professional art" was supposed to be. Over time they realized the silly, sweet, and bright work they had been creating was professional art all along.
Besides making, they enjoy spending time with their friends and cats. She is currently a part-time nanny to two exuberant and playful kids who she adores.
