Collection: Zahra Hooshyar

Zahra Hooshyar is a first generation, Iranian-american interdisciplinary artist hailing from west virginia. Her work often reflects on what it means to be a third culture individual, and she uses humor and appropriation of everyday objects to convey that gray space of existence. Graduating from the University of California- Davis with a Bachelors in studio art and persian studies in 2022, Hooshyar has since been living a nomadic lifestyle of moving around the world for residencies. Currently, she is based in Detroit.
