Looking to deepen your skills in a short but focused format? Join us this November for a 2 week, 4 session pottery intensive designed for dedicated makers who want to work on repetition and consistency.

This accelerated course will meet twice a week for two weeks, with each class running 3 hours. Students should come prepared with prior wheel experience and the ability to center at least two pounds of clay.

What to Expect:
Day 1 & 2: Sets and Matching
Learn the art of repetition as you practice throwing multiples with uniform height, width, and weight. Explore tips for creating matching sets of bowls.

Day 3: Trimming & Finishing Touches
Focus on trimming techniques, foot styles, and surface preparation. Experiment with handles, lugs, and other attachments to bring intentionality to your forms.

Day 4: Glazing
Wrap up with glaze demos and application techniques to highlight your bowls. Learn strategies for testing glazes, layering, and finishing your work.

By the end of this intensive, you’ll not only have a set of bowls perfect for the holidays, but also sharper skills in consistency, finishing, and surface treatment.
