Lily Pad Trays with Jem Tong, September 13th from 12pm - 2:30pm

Do you love frogs and trinkets??? Come join us in the studio to make some cute lily pad trinket trays! 

Our friendly instructor will guide you through the process of rolling slabs, making templates, and adding final touches like frogs or flowers to complete your lily pads.

Message from the instructor: "Hi! My name is Jem Tong. Pottery is my home medium but I enjoy dabbling in just about everything else. My personal work is mainly in clay instruments and moving, dynamic carvings. I have taught since 2022 in CA and WA, and been touching clay since 2014: I love sharing the grounding nature of shaping things with your own hands and meeting so many cool people that pottery attracts."

Workshop will be in-person hosted at Saltstone Ceramics in the Wallingford Neighborhood of Seattle. This workshop is appropriate for all levels of experience with clay and is open to students 15 and older. All firing services are included in the cost, and instructor will glaze your pieces for you.
