Snoot #655 and tongue coaster by Curiosibee Ceramics

Thrown ceramic cup, altered, sculpted and carved to form a dog nose, and handbuilt dog tongue coaster (which can also hold your tea bag). The backside of the mug has the word "Boop" carved, and both the word and the nose texture have been inlaid with glaze. Both pieces have been painted with underglaze and sanded to a smooth finish, the inside of the cup is fully glazed. The coaster is sealed with food-safe liquid quartz and finished with cork on the bottom The tip of the tongue features textured clear glaze to look like drool. Both piece were fired in an electric kiln to cone 6. The cup is 4.25" tall and holds 20 ounces of liquid, the coaster is 6" x 4" x 2".
