Materials: stoneware, underglaze, matte glaze, liquid quartz. Firing: electric cone 5.5. Dimensions: l 6" x w 4.5" x h 6". Volume: about 21 oz. when filled to the brim. Extra Description: the head is sculpted and hollowed, and the neck/lip is wheel thrown. This mug is fully functional, but it is designed to be a little uncomfortable to use. When holding the handle with your right hand, your mouth lines up with the blood drips. When held with the left, the last remaining snake (which is the handle) "bites" you. This mug is a rhyton, a drinking cup usually in the shape of an animal head.
