Wavey Monochromatic Mug by Olivia Caldwell

Wheel thrown from speckled stoneware, altered and hand carved in a wave pattern. Glazed with matte glazes, fired to cone 6 oxidation. The wave is my latest challenge/journey in this line of work. It challenges my carving tool which wishes to carve straight lines only, so achieving this look takes more planning but also more fun when it comes out this good! Enjoy :)
