Many folks were the lucky recipients of Saltstone Ceramics Gift Cards this season. Congratulations! You're in for a treat. Gift cards can be used for everything we sell, including all the gorgeous handmade work in our store and the various pottery classes and workshops we offer.
To use a gift card, just enter the code when you're checking out online, or show the code to our friendly staff in the store.
If you want to buy some STUFF
Just about everything we sell–from cups and bowls to cutting boards and serving platters–is lovingly photographed and available to buy online while you're still in your snowman pajamas. We'll ship it to you or select Wallingford, Seattle Pickup as your shipping method and we'll hold it for you at our store.
If you'd like to shop in person, you'll need to wait just a bit. Our Wallingford, Seattle gallery is closed for the holidays and will reopen on January 2nd.
We're constantly bringing in new work from our most popular artists and finding new artists to love. On January 5th we kick off the new year with CHROMA: A Group Show curated by Juan Barroso. And keep an eye out for our big MUG MADNESS event in March.
If you want to take a ONE NIGHT CLASS
Our one-night Clay Curious intro to the pottery wheel class is offered several times every month. These are sold in advance, and the next batch of classes will be available for sale on Friday, January 7th at noon (for classes in February). If you miss that round, more classes go on sale each month, generally on the first Friday at noon.
If you want to take a WORKSHOP
We offer workshops every month for a range of skill levels. Our current workshops are sold out, but we'll be adding more in January.
If you want to take a PRIVATE LESSON
Private lessons let you get one-on-one instruction so you can make the most of your time in front of the pottery wheel. Private lessons are generally offered Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, and all day on Sundays. Private lessons are booked at most sixty days in advance, so more slots will become available as we move into next year.
If you want to take an EIGHT-WEEK CLASS
Our winter session starts in mid-January, and is currently sold out. Our spring session will start in March and goes on sale in early February.

Do gift cards expire?
Nope! Gift cards don't expire and there are no service or maintenance fees.
Can I get a refund on my gift card, or get the unused balance back as cash?
Sorry, gift cards are not refundable.
I lost my gift card! Can I get a replacement?
Because gift cards work like cash, we're not able to replace them.
How can I check my card balance?
Send us an email or give us a call and we'll help you out. We just need to look up the last four digits/characters of your gift code.
Can you help me use a gift card to get into a class?
Unfortunately, no, we're not able to prioritize gift card holders for classes. Remember that you can use your gift card for anything we sell, including private lessons, handmade housewares, and workshops.
