Jennifer Kaplan

We're proud to present Jennifer Kaplan's work as part of our 2nd annual Queer and Dear show.

Jenn Kaplan is a third year graduate student at the University of Notre Dame with a concentration in ceramics. Jenn earned their BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2014. They were then lead instructor at Penguin Foot Pottery from 2014-2018 in Chicago and a teaching artist a Marwen, the nonprofit organization for Chicago students to take free art classes. Their work focuses on the entanglements of our lived environment, specifically centered around how human and nonhuman living organisms meet. You can find their work throughout Chicago, Southbend, Saratoga, Wilmington, Denver, Richmond, and now Seattle.
